Derby Cityscape

Derby Cathedral

Derby's Cathedral Quarter is described as a treasure trove with a rich offer of niche independant retailers, cafe's restaurants and bars.

Home to a wealth of some of the cities best architectural features with numerous listed buildings,  Derby Cityscape's masterplan aims to build upon this and enhance the existing charm.

As the city grows there are more developments coming forward to restore and revitalise some of Derby's forgotton buildings such as the Police Museum on St Mary's Gate, St Helens House and the Magistrates Court.

Without continued regeneration in the city investors and developers would not see the potential in restoring derelict buildings.

The Derby Cityscape masterplan aims to ensure that these and other elements of the townscape have a commercially vialble role to play so they can be enhanced leaving a legacy for future generations to enjoy.
